Serve

Today there was a fabulous article on Tim Keller, pastor of 4,400 member Redeemer Presbyterian Church: Preaching the Word and Quoting the Voice.

In the article Keller is quoted as saying, "If you seek power before service, you'll neither get power, nor serve...If you seek to serve people more than to gain power, you will not only serve people, you will gain influence. That's very much the way Jesus did it."

Many actors have a dream to become famous so they can change the world. Unfortunately we've seen many celebrities lose sight of their good intentions. As you grow in your skill as an actor it is my prayer that you will see the art as a chance to serve others. It will keep things in perspective.

MasterWorks instructor visit to the Waodoni with Steve Saint
