Deadlines and Cutoff

MasterWorks Festival has set March 31st as the first deadline for applications. After that the application fee doubles to $50. May 1st is the deadline for the $200 deposit to ensure the students space in the program, and June 1st is the
deadline for paying the balance off on their account.

Please let your friends know the deadline is about a week away!

Since we rotate our master class instructors this could be their only chance to work under John Kirby, one of the top actor trainers in Hollywood. Here's his bio:

John Kirby LA. Acting Coach: Praised in the Hollywood Reporter by the late manager Calvin Mason as "An actor's guardian angel", John Kirby has over thirty years experience in teaching. John's coaching career has taken him all over the world. He recently returned from New Zealand where he coached on Disney's "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" for (Shrek) Director Andrew Adamson. Prior to New Zealand John spent a year in Australia where he coached all the young stars of "Peter Pan" for the (Gladiator) producers. After Australia John traveled to Scotland to work with his longtime client for over 13yrs., Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ, The Count of Monte Cristo) on the film "Stroke of Genius" based on the life of golfer Bobby Jones. John has returned to Los Angeles where he has just finished coaching on the Disney film, "Stick It" for Writer/Director Jessica Bendinger (Bring It On) and starring Jeff Bridges (The Big Lebowski, The Fisher King). He has also wrapped on another film with Jim Caviezel entitled "Unknown" which is still in production. Other notable projects include, Walt Disney Picture's "The Count of Monte Cristo", Warner Brother's, "Pay It Forward" and "Angel Eyes", New Line Cinema's "Highwayman" and "Frequency", MGM's "Madison" and 20th Century Fox's "High Crimes". Kirby has a long list of Hollywood greats with whom he has shared his gifts including Judith Light on her Broadway performance of "Wit". Internationally, his expertise has been shared on camera on "A&E Biography of Cameron Diaz", HBO, USA, Entertainment Tonight, E:Entertainment Television and Entertainment Weekly. John can also be seen in England's ITV eight part documentary series, "Desperately Seeking Stardom". John teaches three intensive scene study classes at The John Kirby Studio in Hollywood.

John Kirby offered to stay a second day

I just got off the phone with John Kirby, acting coach for Jim Caviezel and Narnia. He offered to stay a second day, practically doubling the benefit to MasterWorks students this summer.
