A challenge!
Brandon,
Great idea! I'm posting it to our blog: RichDrama.com/MasterWits.
On Mondays, or any other time, feel free to post by sending an email to RichDrama.MasterWits@blogger.com.
If you'd like to post pictures (please do) go to Blogger.com and sign in as MasterWits. I emailed you the password. If you need it again, post a comment on this post. While you're there I hope you'll take a minute to post something to The MasterWorks Theatre Experience (which you can also do by sending an email to RichDrama.MasterWitComment@blogger.com). Keep in mind any footer will be posted. Next year I hope to have a link to that page from MWF Theatre's home page. If you enjoyed the MasterWorks Theatre experience please share that with potential future MasterWits.
I've posted some MWF photos at my blog: RichDrama.com/NewsBlog. You can list your blog on the MasterWits blog by going to http://richdrama.com/MasterWits/2005/08/blogs.html It's also in the right column of RichDrama.com/MasterWits.
One more thing. We have a MasterWits chat room set up: http://richdrama.com/MasterWits/2005/08/chat-room-instructions.html It's also listed in the right column of RichDrama.com/MasterWits. Call for a chat any time or just invite one or two. It's set up for you to use any way that you wish.
In Christ alone,
Rich

Hey guys,So I'm sitting here in the coffee shop of the country's largest book store here in Portland, and I'm debating whether or not I should issue this challenge that's been rattling around in my head. Then I log on to my email and figure "What the heck?"This is something that I've been thinking about for the past year and a half, and what I'm about to write is (try not to laugh) the culmination of a lot of thought. As most, if not all, of us are pursuing a future in theatre, and as we know that this isn't exactly a Christian environment. I've been asking myself for a while now how I can actively be involved in the theatre world while still staying plugged in to a Christian community when the two schedules don't exactly complement each other. So, since I'm not able to be my usual verbose self, I'll get to the point and tell you my challenge: Every Monday (the usual theater dark day) we should all dedicate some time to studying/practicing/discussing our art form of theatre in some way and then spend some time meditating on where the Lord sits in this. Example: For the next few weeks, I'm going to start off by reading/writing some plays and then whatever subject I encounter, I'm going to stop and see what the Bible has to say about it. Something along those lines. And here's the important part: whether through AIM, phone, or in person, this must be something shared with one or more other people. This is not to say that we shouldn't be doing this all during the week, but rather to say if nothing else, we have Mondays! What do you guys think? Any thoughts? Suggestions? Need for clarification? Discuss away!Blessings,BrandonHello Everyone! It feels weird now not to wake up every morning and have a full blown time of worship as well as vocal warm-ups. I'm pretty sure Rex's "mah's" still echo in my ear each morning at nine! All this to say, I miss all of you very much! I hope that we will all be able to keep in touch! Just know that I will be praying for each and every one of you; I know God is going to do GREAT things in your lives! I know He has already spoke through you to me! God bless you all!~Jessica Long
