The cause of the blood vessel bursting or bleeding was the fact that his L eye was not tracking properly and seeing double vision for years...

They have the cause but not the source. They want to find the source or the vessel.

Walter is improving each passing day, He has short term memory loss

On the 29th he will have another angieogram of the brain. This will determine as to what the next move is. A possible shunt in the brain but they are not going to say one way or the other. Each day less and less blood is draining from the fluid of the brain...We are soooo grateful.

He is in very good spirits and the doctor and nurses love him, but he is quite misable. ICU is a monitered place. Each day I think he is more alert, but he does have set backs....

Thank you for your continued suppport and belief for complete restoring of his mind.

Of course you can post reports....today Walter is Much More alert than yesterday. Asking questions to the doctor.
The Main request is he still has blood stopping the flow of the fluid of the brain down into the spine. It has clogged up the channel of fluid down. The blood is not increasing but the drain is plugged up. The example of the doctor.
The doctors will not take out the draining tube in the top of his head until the blood has dissolved. If this does not happen in whatever time they feel is long enough then a shunt will be put in......

Walt Ringleb in hospital for brain hemorrhage

I just got off the phone with Dr. Kavinaugh. Walt Ringleb drove himself to the hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage. His wife, Bonnie, who directs the MWF dance program, is a flight attendant. She was out of town, and is trying to get to him now.
